Gender Bender and Princesses

Photobucket

Because this just makes me look totally normal.

And yes, Man!Ophelia would be called Hamlet, for epic lulz. (Woman!Eddie would call him Hammy as a pet name, that an to irritate him whenever possible.)

Progress

Some improvement on my part when it comes to photoshop. Here are some recent doodles/coloring jobs I started on there.

Yes, this one is a screen cap, but the picture is huge. I'll post the full color on DA when I finish it.

Just some random doodles for now, first something old.

And something blue: Photobucket

...Yeah, photoshop and I don't get along. But I'm redoing this one since I have a better idea of how to color this without feeling nervous about coloring.

Moar art

Even if it's been posted to DA, I figure I'd share the basic no background version here.

Photobucket

This was more or less drawn because I felt like drawing some fanart of a kickass gal. Meet Heather from SH3. A snarky teenager who just sighs in an annoyed fashion at the horror surrounding her.

This was done with basic Prisma colored pencils, Sakura Micron ink pens and a hello kitty number 2 pencil. The coloring took a lot less time than it usually does since I opted to use the blend pen I have to mix colors together instead of trying to grind them together via my normal methods of coloring. (Usually I press down OVERLY hard on the picture to try and mix colors.)

This time I opted to experiment and see what I could do with the blend tool/marker.

I pretty much scanned it in, dug through my gallery of textures/ref and choose a background I wanted for this piece. It felt dark enough and smear-y enough and I wanted to use it for Heather's whole depressing motif.

The fully finished piece:

I added a golden brown Graident over the top and toyed with how dark I wanted it. The piece probably has wayy too much color, but I didn't want everything to be washed out. Silent Hill or not, I wanted to show off the fact I can color on occasion. Ach.
